-Join us for worship at 10:00 AM! Our service is a liturgical worship that utilizes a printed service handout or the Divine Service Setting out of the Lutheran Service Book. We sing hymns out of the LSB to music played from our beautiful organ. God's word is the center of our worship content and order of service.
What To Wear
Don't worry about what to wear! Whether you prefer casual dress or you like to wear your Sunday best, we just want you to be comfortable. It is not unusual to see the whole spectrum at our service.
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU GET HERE
We recommend arriving a few minutes early to find your seat and gather your materials. There will be greeters at the front door ready to meet you, answer any questions that you might have and point you in the right direction. Ushers are positioned near the entry into the Sanctuary to make sure you have what you need and answer any questions.
How long is the service and what content is included
Services last about an hour and include: singing hymns; invocation; a time for confession and absolution; a time for prayer; scripture readings from the Old Testament, New Testament and Holy Gospel; and an engaging sermon with real life application-typically based off one of the readings.
Where to LEave Contact information
Please sign our attendance sheets and guest book. The guest book can found near the entrance of the church and the attendance sheets are in the pew. If you are new to Trinity, please leave your address as well. If you are in need of a pastor visit, leave a request for a visit in the address section of the sheet.
fellowship after the service
After the church service there is a time for fellowship, coffee and snacks.
Children in church
Children of any age are welcome in our services! Please don't worry about a fussy child during church. However if you feel like you need to step out, there is a nursery down the hall from the sanctuary where you can still listen to the service from overhead speakers in the room. The nursery has toys, books, a rocking chair as well as a Pack 'n Play. There is a changing table in the women's bathroom on the South side of the church in the education wing. On the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the Month- Sunday School for children from Preschool to 5th grade is offered during the church service. The Children begin church in the sanctuary and leave for Sunday School after the children's message with Pastor. On first and third Sunday's the Children remain in the sanctuary during church and have learning material to read or color as an activity if needed.
Communion
-Communion: Communion is offered the 1st and 3rd Sunday's of the month. Fellowship in the Lord’s Supper is the basis for the practice of “close”or “closed communion.”(The phrases “close communion”and “closed communion”refer to one and the same practice. If you plan on participating in communion and are not a member of the LCMS, please find the pastor or an elder prior to the service. If you cannot participate in communion, but would still like to receive and blessing, please feel welcome to join everyone walking up to communion. Ushers help to dismiss each pew to walk up front in the center aisle to either receive communion or a blessing. You can choose whether you want to walk up to receive communion or a blessing- if you would rather not participate, you can remain seated in the pew. Wine is serviced on the outside of the trays and grape juice on the inside of the tray. Click Here to learn more about communion in the LCMS Lutheran Church.
